Today was EasternStar's first speech therapy appointment. I'm not really sure what our objective was. We spent about an hour "playing" and going over what she can and can't do communication wise, which hadn't changed much since her evaluation a week ago. Then we were done. I guess the goal was just to get her comfortable with her therapist?
She did enjoy eating the blue marker that she found in her office - so I guess it was a sucessful trip in her eyes! (EasternStar's new "thing" is to find pencils, pens, crayons, and markers that have been lost around the house and eat them. I never knew that I had lost as many pens as she has found in the past week!)
